Baby Blessing

Today Kaden Wayne Hodson was given a name and a blessing.
These are all who helped bless our third little son (not including Brian of course):

Okay he looks kind of funny but trust me he was adorable. Poor babies, we but them through so much to look cute for us. No adult in his right mind would wear the outfit that I put Kaden in...but babies can somehow pull it off.
It was a wonderful blessing. I am so excited to have my two little boys! Our house gets extra crazy when Zach is here, but it fills me with "warm fuzzies!"

GO NUGGETS!!

Brian and I finally got to go on a date!! It has been soo long! Brian got tickets from a vender at his work to the Nuggets game on Saturday. They were GOOD tickets. It was so much fun to watch the game where you could actually see what was going on.

Christmas Tree

We have finally put our "audaments" (Zach) on our tree. This was Spencer's first time being able to help out. It went a lot better then I thought it would. Spencer loved it. He gets so excited whenever the tree lights up.

I decided that Spencer needed some extra stimulation throughout the day. So I had him wash some coins. He got very wet! But he really enjoyed it. He was so concentrated on his task that this was the best smile I could get out of him and it took a lot of "Spencer!" to even get him to look up!

Spencer loves trains! He can play for hours...okay maybe not hours, but a long time with this train set. He loves to set them up and knock them over and set them up again. He also loves taking his cars for a ride in train car.

Spencer loves his new baby brother! He is always wanting to hold him, especially when Kaden is crying.











I love this picture. I think it shows well how crazy our house is getting. Spencer was such a calm mellow baby and every since 15 months he has been hit with ENERGY! Even though I would love to have a girl, and sometimes I complain about being out numbered; I do love my boys. If I had a girl I'm not sure I'd know what to do with her. Boys are very special little spirits...I LOVE MY BOYS!

It's been awhile since I have blogged sorry. But I feel as if I have a great excuse and that is my new sweet boy, Kaden! I was really worried about how Spencer would react to Kaden being home. I was pleasantly surprised. He loves having the "baby" around. He is even giving him kisses. Although it looks like he is trying to eat him in this picture. It's been great having my mom and Brian around! I am a little worried about when my mom leaves and Brian goes back to work. But I think I'm healing well, I'm not in too much pain so I guess I'll just suck it up and see how it goes. The wonderful thing is I have other family close and so they are there when I need them and I have the Sisters in my ward to help me too. I love that about our church! People are alway so willing to help. Sometimes I'm really not...I feel bad because I know how good it feels to serve and also to be served. I hope I can give back to those who serve me. So for all of you out there thank you so much! Really, it means a lot to me!

More aquarium fun

They had tigers at the aquarium! That was cool! They also had the saddest balloon man we have ever seen! I guess it wasn't a busy day because he kept falling asleep. We also saw Mark and Tiffany look alikes. Sorry guys we were unable to get a picture. But in another life they would totally be you!!

Denver Aquarium

This last weekend Brian, me, and Spencer took a trip downtown and went to the aquarium. It was fun to get out. Spencer loved it! On our honeymoon Brian and I went to an aquarium in Hawaii...it was sadly disappointing. I guess in Hawaii if you want to see cool fish you should go Scubadiving or something. Maybe that was the thought process behind the Hawaii Aquarium...anyway it was a waste of money. But the Denver Aquarium was pretty cool. It was still too expensive but we still enjoyed it.

I love this picture! The tongue means he is hungry. It seems like he always has his tongue out. His poor little face! I guess mommy had too many hormones floating around because baby got a bad case of baby acne. The good news is he is now clear! Yeah!
