Bolder Boulder 2009

Jaci and Zach are pumped! We had a fun drive all the way up. No one was grumpy at all, or super sleepy! Zach surprised us all...we ditched us and took off with Jared (soon to be uncle jared) and beat Brian and I by a minute! He is a stud!

These pictures are of our beautiful, no sweaty selves "running" the race. Brian was so nice and stayed with me during the whole thing. What a fantastic husband!

Here is Tiffany and me and some smiling half naked girl....what is she trying to make us look bad! Just because we're not dressed like here doesn't mean we can't...we just didn't want to...it was too cold.

These are the people that were in our wave....oh, I forgot to mention, we finish it in 1 and 1/2 hours! Yeah!

This was after the race...we were all in the stadium watching the parachuters land.
There were so many people there...It was pretty cool. Right after the Parachuter with the American flag landed the clouds opened up and rain poured down on us! During the "Taps" the horns were accompanied by thunder...it was awesome!

Website

There is a website that I love...it is called www.hillbillyhousewife.com. It took me a little while to love it...for a little while I would read some of the stuff in it and was like, "Are you joking me!?" Ex. "make your own sanitary napkins" That was a little too much for me, but so far I love the recipes on this site. I have tried several (some of them I add some of my own "Kelli-style" to the dishes), but overall pretty much every recipe I have tried on the site has been really good. Tonight I think I will try Chicken with Biscuits. So far the recipes that I have tried have been really easy to make and they don't call for a ton of ingredients. One of our favorites is the Hamburger Pinwheel. It is good with ketchup or white gravy. (you can also sneak spinach in there too...hehe) Alright--enough of this food talk time for a nap!! I am so tired, even this wooden computer chair is starting to feel comfortable....goodnite...afternoon.
